The main blood types are A, B and O; But it isn’t quite that simple , in relity there is
AA, AO, BB, BO, OO, and AB. EAch person receives one of these letters ( called antigens) from each parent. There are A and B antigens and the O are ones that do not react with either of the A or B. If your parents are , for instance AO and BO They would show up as A and B. And they could have each given you an O and therefore you would show up as O. If your parents are both O you will be O.If your parents are both A you8 will be A or O. If both are B you will be B or O. If parents are AB you wil be AB, B, Or A. etc.If both parents are B you cannot be A. If both are A you cannot be B. If both are AB you cannot be O.
