Blackberry Bold 9650 Release Date & Price
Blackberry Bold 9650 Release Date & Price – Research In Motion, the company responsible for manufacturing Blackberry phones, will be announcing their often pictured BlackBerry Bold 9650. Some experts had estimated that this announcement would come at RIM’s 2010 Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES), which appears to be the location of the unveiling according to inside sources. Reportedly, both Sprint and Verizon Wireless could potentially be releasing the device to their customers next month. Current rumors have said that Sprint will likely be the first company to receive the phone.
Earlier last week, a screenshot of what appeared to be the Internet Verizon inventory system leaked. The screenshot showed an item that was labeled “Bold 9650”, apparently confirming the rumors that the phone would be on its way soon, and also that the name of the phone would be Bold 9650. Then again Monday, a similar screenshot, this time from Sprint, also popped up on the Internet with pricing details and a release date. Assuming that the leak is not a hoax, the phone will likely be on sale through Sprint for $199.99 after you have mailed in your $100 mail in rebate. The off-contract price of the phone is expected to be $449.99.
WES 2010 will be taking place in Orlando, Fla., from April 27 through April 29. The pricing information that has turned up in these screenshots in recent weeks has not been confirmed or denied by either company, and no official announcement has been officially scheduled as of yet. The Bold 9650, which many have described as a revamped version of the tour 9630, will likely feature RIM’s new track pad, which will replace the older track pad version that so many users had problems with. RIM will also reportedly be releasing a version of the phone that is not equipped with a camera for organizations that ban digital cameras from being on the premises.
Update: the release date for the BlackBerry Bold 9650 is May 23, 2010 to Sprint Nextel and Verizon.*Sponsored Links*
