Amazon Kindle Sells Out

Amazon e-book reader called the Kindle sold out in 5.5 hours after it was launched although the company will not say how many Kindles it had in stock
Nonetheless the idea of having thin e-book that weighs 10.3 ounces yet can hold some 200 books, along with newspapers, magazines and an entire dictionary with free EV-DO and the visual flair of an Apple IIc was appealing to many people,
According to Amazon’s website the Kindles will be back in stock on the 29th, but availability is first-come, first-served.So hurry up if you want one.

The Amazon Kindle which is a portable reading device with the ability to wirelessly download books, blogs, magazines, and newspapers has been launched.
The Kindle eBook reader can access up to 88,000 books including 100 of the 112 New York Times best sellers.
No WiFi needed, Amazon’s Whispernet service is FREE and based on Sprint’s EVDO:

World’s Most Expensive Credit Card

The world’s most expensive credit card was revealed at the 2007 Cartes & IDentification Show in Paris, France on Thursday.
The card is made by GK Power and is studded with 333 diamonds.
A diamond-encrusted credit card has also been designed by the company to attract the so-called “VVIP” clients.

Sony VAIO UX490 On Sale

Sony has finally decided to put the long-awaited VAIO UX490N for sale on their site.The UX490 comes in a black case like the UX390 but has been upgraded to the new Core 2 Solo CPU (U2200 @ 1.2GHz), and a 48GB SSD has replaced the traditional HDD.
The price from Sony is currently at $2,499, which may sound expensive at first, but as the esupport documents showed us, this is the UX490N/C which comes bundled with some very nice goodies:
1GB of DDR2 RAM, a pair of integrated cameras (0.3-megapixels in the front, 1.3-megapixels in the rear), a fingerprint scanner, 48GB SSD, 4.5-inch 1,024 x 600 resolution touchscreen and a GMA 950 graphics set to boot.
Additionally you’ll also find built-in Bluetooth / WiFi, an Ethernet port, audio in / out jacks, an MS Duo expansion slot, WWAN support (AT&T), Vista Business and a Li-ion good for 1.5 to 3.5-hours.
