Cnn.com/the moment – Cnn.com/the moment is a redirection to http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2009/44.president/inauguration/themoment/,which is a site created by CNN.com that has decided to team up with Microsoft to produce the first “synth” of a major historical moment on Inauguration Day.
What is the goal?
Using Micrsoft’s Photosynth technology, CNN.com is asking people around the Inauguration in D.C. on Tuesday to send in pictures of “The Moment” as Barack Obama is being sworn in. Then, the iReport’s will be fused together to provide a detailed 3-D environment of the event, using all the pictures and video sent in from those in attendance.
