I bought this computer with the intention of getting rid of Vista and installing XP
What a mistake!!! It is all but impossible as Microsoft has found a way to shove Vista up our back sides…. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE if your intending on loading XP. Do your homework.

I too just had my IT person at work do the whole XP, Mike you are right, what a freakin’ mess. Unfortunately she blew away my recovery and I got stuck purchasing vista. Luckily I work for a university and get significant discounts so it only set me back $40. I’m angry…all in all the computer has worked wonderfully for me other than this whole Vista business…
