Droid X Screen Problems
Droid X Screen Problems – Apple has been suffering from growing pains with the release of their iPhone 4, with many users complaining about reception issues. Now, it appears that Motorola and droid have been having a number of problems of their own. Some users have reported that the screen on some Droid X mobile devices are faulty, and do not work in the way that they should.
“We are aware of a very small number of Droid X units that have experienced a flickering or banding display,” Motorola spokesperson Juli Burda said.
Motorola has said that they have already figured out what the problem is, and have solved the issue. No more units of the device will be sent out with the problematic screens. Burda went on to say that any customer who has problems with the display that involve flickering or banding screens can call customer support for a replacement, which will be shipped to them in a timely fashion.
The Droid X was released last week, and received increased attention after the iPhone 4 had a number of well-documented problems. Many users said that the device worked fine at first, but after a few days of using the device they noticed that they were having display issues. Sometimes the screen would flicker, and sometimes the displays would not work at all.
Motorola and Verizon were able to respond to the harsh criticism by quickly correctly the problem. Their response to the issue is something that Apple should learn from.
