My one and only dream has been to own a home that my grandchildren could come and visit their “granny” before I go on in this life.
On my 60th birthday March 28. I would like to be living near the water in order to fulfill another dream of mine and that is to have an ocean show called OCN. This is something I could share with the world because the cameras would be live and underwater and a true Reality Show because you would never know what would happen next or what would swim up to the cameras and living in California I could really have two dreams come alive at one time. A true Reality show in its purist form. That would be hard to accomplish sitting here in Dayton Ohio. One of the 5th emptiest cities in the USA according to the USA TODAY News. I have been working on this concept for several years with the backing of Senators and a kind House of Represetative, Tom Roberts. I have had a lot of people that really believe in this concept as it is a great way also for people to calm their minds and just watch nature sort of like how an aquarium does only on a much more massive scale and the element of surprise of not knowing what you will see next. Who knows maybe this could really be my true reality.
Thank you for the chance to dream.
Sincerely, Carol Jackson

Why are all your shows dealing with real estate? You use to have programs regarding decorating and maintaining the home, like Room by Room and Decorating Cents. These were afforable suggestions with wonderful remedies. Now all I see are renting, buying, selling, first buyers, etc. Home and Gardening is about improving your home on a budget and you only have a handful of programs available. You’ve lost a devoted viewer and many friends feel the same. Please try to change your format and do away with so many real estate. Thank you.

I have been an avid HGTV viewer for some time and am recently very disappointed with the programming. Now all I see are reruns of my favoites; House Hunters, My First Place, and Property Virgins. I have loved Design Star but wonder what happens to the winners? I saw 3 recent shows with Jennifer Gorda and then no more and since The Antonio Project, I haven’t seen Antonio again either. I thought that a show on HGTV was among the prizes for the winner! I’m really tired of seeing David Bromstad announcing that he was a RECENT winner of Design Star. I like his show okay but, again, reruns, reruns.
