Motorola Droid 2?
Motorola Droid 2? – Pictures of a device that looks a lot like an upgrade to the Motorola Droid recently leaked online. A blog named DroidLife claims that the pictures are from the Droid 2, a device that has yet to even be announced. The website did not state how they were able to get a hold of the pictures of the rumored device.
Basically there is no way to verify whether or not the story that was printed on their website is actually true. The phone does contain the word “Motorola” across the top of the image, and has a “with Google” tag on the back, leading some to speculate that the device could be the sequel to the recently released Droid that has taken the mobile market by storm.
Externally the device looks nearly the same as the original Droid. However, it is expected that a number of improvements to the hardware will be made. The phone is also shown with the same screen as the original Droid, which had a 3.7 inch, 480 by 854 resolution. The processor speed of the original was 550 mHz, and the phone in the picture reportedly has a processor speed of 750 mHz, making it a significant upgrade over the original.
The phone does not have a front facing camera, to compete with the recent iPhone announcement. The iPhone will have a front facing camera that will allow users of the phone to video chat with the person that they are talking to on the phone. They hope that the feature will allow the phone to become more suitable for business applications, and have made a number of advancements in the phone software to ensure that the new iPhone will be business ready.
