New iPod Touch: New Design September 1?
New iPod Touch: New Design September 1? – A Chinese company has released photos of what they claim is a new case for the coming next generation iPod Touch that is rumored to be set to release.
Speculation has been rife about the new iPod Touch, which is expected to incorporate a new design, a forward facing camera that would enable FaceTime Video Chat, and possible the 3cm x 3cm screen we have seen with other recent Apple devices.
The pictures of the cases seem to be for both an iPod Touch and an iPod Nano, with some believing we may be seeing a Nano that is smaller, without the slightly annoying click wheel of previous models, though this is hard to say from the cases.
One thing that is interesting is the shape of the cases, which seem to be more square. Based on the overall look, it seems to follow the changing format of Apple hand held devices.
Of course, everything said here is purely speculation, though anonymous sources in the company have been dropping some tantalizing hints about a coming reveal in the next few weeks. We can now safely assume that some of these rumors are true, as Apple has announced a special event to be held on the first.
I am sure I am not the only one excited by this. I am not a huge fan of the iPhone, but I love the iPod Touch, and I can’t wait for a new generation of the gadget. I am also excited to see the new possible design, and possible evidence of a front facing camera.
