On 11/11/08 I missed how to soak your feet to get rid yellow toe nails and the fungis and the sorness, there is are no ingrown toenails. This is my mothers problem she is 87 years old. Thank you I`m looking forward to your responce.

One of the suggestions was to soak your feet in White Vinegar. I have done this in the past and it does work. Another suggestion would be to soak your feet in Listerine (smells better than the vinegar. I have done this as well and it works. Just remember that the nail grows out slowly so you will not see results overnight but after about 2 weeks you will notice changes. I soaked for about 15 minutes daily. Hope this helps.

I really need your help, on Oct 15,2008 I had surgery due to an abscess that came out on my left inner glut, which now I have a tube draining, after fifteen days i had to go back for surgery again because i was in pain, the puss was going on the side of the tube creating a new pocket. this tube makes it hard for me to walk and even sit straight, went back to the Doctor to inform him that the puss was not coming out from the tube if not from the rubber bands that is holding the tube on the outside of the glut close by the anal and green with some blood it hurts me. now he said that after the holidays i have to go back for surgery again to remove the tube which is great, but due to the abscess i have a Fistula and i need a different kind of surgery. Is there a treatment that i can do for this Fistula please help me.

Dear Dr.Oz I have been having vaginal bacteria
infections at least twice a year. I don’t know
why this keeps happening to me. My sex partner
hasn’t changed, we don’t do nasty things in bed, etc. I have been tested for all the STD’s and they rule it as a bacteria infection.
It is very imbarassing. Can you give me some

I have fybrocystic breasts, they are very
hurtful at times and I find that not wearing
a bra usually relieves the symptoms within
a few days. That is hard to do though because
I do work. I am in my 50s going thru menopause.

Can you please help my husband who has a condition which seems to be debilitating. His butt bones REALLY hurt him and has been told they are bruised due to loosing weight and sitting behind a desk for some time. This pain is also in his hips and legs. He can hardly sit in the car and drive home without breaking out into a sweat. He now works outside and we thought this problem would get better but in fact it has not maybe even worse. He prefers to eat and watch tv standing. His current job has him very active climbing telephone poles and digging which is vigorous work which keeps him off of his bum. We have tried almost everything even paid out of pocket for chiropractors not in our insurance plan. This Dr told us we was wasting our money that this would do him no good. Asked about acupuncture and said he would not benefit from that either. I feel if anyone could figure this out you could. Please please help him for his own sanity and his families well being.

What can you tell me about colonastapy (sp)?
Do you know anyone that has had this surgery?
Are they alive now? How long can a person live with this type of surgery?
I have had rectal cancer about 18 yrs. ago. Problems have started few years ago. Getting worse each year, month now almost weekly. I feel I am a candidate for colonastapy.

I have degenerative disc disease. I just received MRI results showing L4-5 slight bulge L5-S1 disc quite thin with bulge. It also notes Tarlov, synovial & meningeal cysts and one of my vertebrae has shifted.
My 82 yr old father (whom I care for) has terrible spinal stenosis and my 52 yr old brother is more crippled than my father!
I am a 50 yr old woman and work in a tax office (tax season is quite a chore!) I see a chiro every 4 wks which helps manage the pain and I do my rehab strenghtening for my back. What else can I do to minimize or slow the progression of this disease?

I have a very important question, it’a about sleep.
My boyfriend, sleeps for nearly 13hours everyday of his life, when you try to wake him, he just does not wake up, he goes to sleep say at about 10 or 11 at night then only wakes up at 3 or 4 in the afternoon, he is sleeping his life away and still he is always tired. He has been to the docter but the docter said there isnt anything wrong.
Can you please tell me why he sleeps for so long and what we can do to change it??
He does sport and keep busy with studies so what can be the problem?

I don’t know how to reach Oprah so will go through you. My doctor had me on bio-identical hormones 5 years ago. He was basically “guessing” how strong when he first put me on. He insisted on the saliva tests, instead of blood, which took awhile to get back. As the months went on I felt something terribly wrong, and kept telling my husband. I finally ended up running around my house screaming and got into the doctor who put in on Xanax. After another month or two of this, he did another test and my testosterone level was way over 200! I hope the ladies going on these had better luck than I did. Last year I went back on a low doseage, but he had me on an over-the-counter DHea which has a steriod and I was headed in same direction. I am now off all of them. I’m 64, had a total hysteroctomy and feel much better. Thanks for letting me share this with you. Mary

My problem is my knees, they turn dark in the summer time. I use sun screen when I am out in the sun but they still turn dark. People ask if I have fallen and bruised them. One lady actually came up and asked if I ever washed my knees!! They will be the same color as my legs all winter and begin to change in the summer. I have had my ileostomy for 3 months and still have issues with strong odors when emptying even though I have used deodorizers. Also I drink cranberry juice, eat yogurt and kefir regularly. I also still have a lot of gas and have tried beano with no effect.

Dr oz, I feel my health is getting out of hand.My weight is about 151 pounds.I do a lot of execise,still I don’t lose weight.My Dr says to lose about 30 pounds,to me it feels like loseind 300 pounds.I am 57 years of age and 5 feet tall.

Dr. Oz, I have been suffering from dystonia since January 13, 2009. I know it is not as long as the people you had on the Oprah show a while back; however, mine is very bad. Mine is in my throat and goes down my chest. About three weeks ago the spasms have been making my left arm hurt. I have been to an ENT Dr. Clark (he injected botox in my lyrnex). The shot only lasted for less than three weeks. This did not help the rest of the organs spasming. I have just been to Dr. Charles Morgan, Neurologist (he had nothing to offer). The spasms last about 10 minutes approximately 12 to 15 times a day. I am an 8th grade Science teacher, student council sponsor, Junior high and High school Cheer Coach. If you can afford the acupuncture, I would try it. I have arthritis in my thumbs and had it and it lasted 2 years. Chinese medicine is good. I’m guessing you tried warm baths – has your doctor given him a blood test to rule out any ailment? Doctors sometimes say alternative treatments won’t work because they want the money for themselves.
