PC Sales Slip In Japan »

The death of PC is predicted in Japan,again.Personal computer sales have been seriously declining ,leading to wonder if Japan will become the first major market to kill it.
Young Japaneses are more interested in spending their hard earn money on headphones, iPod Touch, Nintendo Co.’s ,Wii and Sony’s PlayStation 3 game consoles,digital camera and flat-screen TV.

Google Enters Mobile Phone Market With Software »

Today Google confirmed its long-rumored expansion into the mobile market by revealing the Android mobile phone software.Google held a conference and explained that they are developing a free cell phone software package.Which enables the search giant to kindly furnish ads and services to people who aren’t in front of a PC.The first phones will be available by the second half of 2008.T-Mobile, HTC, Qualcomm, Motorola and 34 other companies have collaborated on the development of Android through the Open Handset Alliance.
So far, Motorola Inc., Samsung Electronics Co., HTC and LG Electronics Inc. have agreed to use Google’s software in some of their phones. Both Motorola and Samsung already buy Microsoft’s Windows Mobile in some of their phones.

Sony VAIO UX490 On Sale »

Sony has finally decided to put the long-awaited VAIO UX490N for sale on their site.The UX490 comes in a black case like the UX390 but has been upgraded to the new Core 2 Solo CPU (U2200 @ 1.2GHz), and a 48GB SSD has replaced the traditional HDD.
The price from Sony is currently at $2,499, which may sound expensive at first, but as the esupport documents showed us, this is the UX490N/C which comes bundled with some very nice goodies:
1GB of DDR2 RAM, a pair of integrated cameras (0.3-megapixels in the front, 1.3-megapixels in the rear), a fingerprint scanner, 48GB SSD, 4.5-inch 1,024 x 600 resolution touchscreen and a GMA 950 graphics set to boot.
Additionally you’ll also find built-in Bluetooth / WiFi, an Ethernet port, audio in / out jacks, an MS Duo expansion slot, WWAN support (AT&T), Vista Business and a Li-ion good for 1.5 to 3.5-hours.

Somebody came up with a product called the “Gadget Bottle” that allows you to carry a gadget and 22 ounces of water around the gym.Instead of having your phone in your pocket you can attach the phone to the bottle and place the bottle on the console of the exercise equipment.The bottle ‘s pocket holds most energy bars, set of keys, mobile phones and MP3 players.According to the company the Gadget Bottle is a fun, useful and affordable birthday or holiday gift. $8.25 plus very low shipping cost.Everybody needs water but I’m not sure everybody needs that thingamagic.

Apple iMac’s Freezing Issue Resolved »

Apple has confirmed today that the iMac’s freezing issue has been resolved by releasing a patch that corrects the problem.
The company advices owners to get the patch as soon as possible that are now available for Leopard (iMac Software Update 1.3) and Tiger (iMac Software Update 1.2).
