SpaceX Falcon 9 Launch
December 8th was the scheduled day for the liftoff of SpaceX Falcon 9 and it was a historical day for space history. Space Exploration Technologies is the first private firm to send a craft up into orbit and successfully get it back down to the Earth.
SpaceX had an incredibly successful run with their very first launch and they are expecting many more in the future.

Recently their Drag space capsule was found just off the coast of Mexico after the launch of their Falcon 9 into orbit from Cape Canaveral.
Progress of the flight was monitored from the headquarters of the company and everything considered it was extremely successful.
One of the managers of the crew said that it was a giant success and that absolutely nothing major went wrong; overall the company could not have asked for a smoother launch.
This first launch into orbit is just the beginning of what is to come, according to a spokesperson for the company. Space enthusiasts all over the world are excited about what this means for space exploration and discovery.
