WGAL.com – Wgal.com is the website for WGAL – Channel 8 that gives news ,headlines, weather, and sports from Pennsylvania.
That’s all we have for now on WGAL.com.
i live in harrisburg city, i try to set up new tv convert box and anten but i don’t get wgalnews8 signal broadcast. do you have any tower transmission signals broadcast in harrisburg city? your broadcast station 23 miles away from where i live no indoor ant can pickup signal in that range, i think more elderly seniors will have trouble with new consvert box and antner. there is big mountain in lingletowns road maybe yu can put new tower
Are all cable companies in the state participating in this changeover and is it being done consistently? My daughter lives in Phila., has cable hookup and is being told she needs to obtain converter boxes. I thought that as long as one was hooked up to cable, no action was needed. Could anyone shed light on this??
i have checked you’r website for at least 3 different things at different times never could find it.all i want to know is where to get this reduced prescription card.my husband has no insurance and he really needs it.please send me a list of places to get it.i am not computer smart please
I have a question for your consumer reporter George Lettus.About flying and how rude delta airlines was to my good freind yesterday.Your station always reports about hsb international and flights are decreasing. My freind booked a flight to New Orleans from hsb and back six weeks ago and yesterday his coneting flight from atlanta left early and he was sent to philly and had to find a way to hsb.I would like to talk to your cosumer reporter about a delta airlines very poor customer service.
Since this is the week of Holloween no has put out a schedule of trick or treet nights that allows us to prepare for the little ones and would like to know about the Campbeltown area.
Thank you

I would appreciate it if you would appreciate more the reason of why you exist: to report on government. I realize that you must maintain ratings but in this peralist time in our history we need to know more about what governments at both the state and federal level is doing. We need less interpretation of the news and more reporting of the news there really are people out here who can decide for themselves.
Concerning your reporting the results of the Selinsgrove-Manheim Central football game. I was very disturbed with your reporting the results…..You showed the trophy awarding and
interviews with the SECOND place team….the team that lost the game, but nothing on the winners. The people from upstate Snyder and Juniata counties are also Channel 8 viewers and
the kids from Selinsgrove also worked hard to get to be WINNERS, they deserved much better from your station.
Dr. Scala,
We enjoy your weather forecasting, but get
a li’l irritated when you keep referring to the city of Bradford – as you did this evening when telling us of the snow coming from the west and hitting Bradford tonite. ERIE (our former home) has over 1 million people in the city’s metro area, and you miss mentioning it completely. Bradford has e few thousand people and old oil wells. Please give Erie justice in you reports? Thank you, Al Kwiatek
while i appreciate getting info on the impending weather, once we have had the important info could we go back to the reg. programming. could you do 10 minutes each hour? it gets a little boring to hear the same info continously.
It would be nice to have it announce more that we are currently in a state of emergency, per Governor Rendell, most people are not aware that the state of emergency stands for 90 days, some employers are not aware of that either.
If it is still in effect, it should be broadcast more frequently.
Your website is too large and too confusing. Yesterday I accendently stumbled unto a list of closed roads. Today I can’t find it evan though I have gone through many pages.
