White House Website:Whitehouse.gov – White House Web Site/WhiteHouse.gov is the new site created by President Barack Obama’s administration to keep the American people updated on the policies and decisions that will be taken.Macon Phillips, the Obama White House’s director of new media, wrote in a 12:01 p.m. Tuesday post on the site’s blog:
“One of the first changes is the White House’s new website, which will serve as a place for the President and his administration to connect with the rest of the nation and the world.”

I’m truly disappointed. We are back to the same old routine: add all the pork you want to the “recovery” bill, as long as you vote for it. Don’t require anybody who gets the money to use it, or NOT to use it for anything specific. The good ol’ boys get theirs. The rest of us pay. The more things change, the more they stay the same. And that includes letting Reps. and Sen. off with no taxes paid until they are nominated for a cabinet post. The rest of us would be in jail. Come on, Pres. Obama, what happened to change?

In my opinion, the problems of today were caused by a whole generation of people on a spending binge. They bought houses way over thier price range, with intrest only payments for X years, and when the whole monthly payment was due, they could not pay. Plus they had two cars, two snowmobiles and a boat. On top of that they had thousands of $$$ of credit card debt. This is the most iresponsible generation the world has ever known. Plus congress is also to blame for not stopping the banks and wall st. from doing wrong.
They should have been watched more closely.

I just heard that IBM is going to be laying off 4% of it’s U.S. work force and sending the work to India. I sure hope that people stop buying their products so that they see how wrong this is. I hear that India is getting so much work that they are farming it out uo other countries.
